Laura has been the Nurse Practitioner with Galliano Surgical Group since 2021. She came to the practice with more than 20 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse, and spent most of this time as a nurse in the Operating Room. She has provided care to diverse patient populations in both the outpatient and hospital surgical settings, and she first began working with Dr. Galliano in 2004 on the OR team. Laura graduated with Honors from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in St. Augustine, Florida. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through both the AANP and ANCC certification bodies. She has also been board certified as a Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) since 2005. Laura is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Laura lives in Charlotte County with her husband and their 4 dogs, and she would love you to ask her about her dogs.
